Tis the Season...

My parents just recently asked me to write my WISH LIST for Christmas. So I thought I would write some of my ideas on here:

  1. Backpack for traveling
  2. Day Pack
  3. Backpacking books: Lets Go,  and Lonely Planet
  4. Money belt
  5. Sleeping bag liner (silk)
  6. Locks
  7. A NEW CAMERA (to document my travels)
  8. More items to come...

  1. Now that is my kind of wish list--very inspired for the traveler. I took a year off in '03 to travel it was the best decision I ever made!

  3. Hmmm, my wishlist for this year is to simply enjoy the holiday break. Every year I find myself using the break for catching up on things and it doesn't feel like a break at all.

This year is going to be different. I figure if I plan for a bunch of things that don't matter, that will leave me wide open to not do any of them and enjoy the free time procrastinating stuff that doesn't matter...how nice is that feeling, putting stuff off that doesn't need to be done in the first place. Perhaps I am just a procrastination junky so much so that I have made an art of it.

So I guess that is my wish list, to not accomplish any of the meaningless tasks I will set out for the holiday break and bask in the satisfyingly lazy procrastination glow.

By the way, congrats on still having the opportunity for a wish list from the folks, very nice!

  4. Hey Guys

Thanks for commenting! I figured that I won't be able to buy everything for myself, so why not use christmas and birthdays to help me get ready for my adventure.

Tee Bone: that sounds like an amazing idea, you def should take some time off. Unfortunately I will be traveling back and forth from toronto to london to work over the holidays.
